About the Internet Museum

Welcome to The Internet Museum.

The museum was founded in 2006 by two colleagues who sought to create a place where artifacts of the Internet's golden age would be preserved. Today the founders remain the principle trustees of The Internet Museum.

Trustees

Sara Holoubek
Ms. Holoubek, an interactive industry advisor, has been collecting rare Internet artifacts since 1999 with the intent of some day building The Internet Museum. Her tireless efforts to curate her collection and create a permanent home became a reality in 2006 when she met Morgan Friedman.

S. Morgan Friedman
Mr. Friedman has been archiving aspects of life usually lost -- such as fleeting conversations and lost languages -- since 1994. He also runs a software development company in Buenos Aires.
