Collector's Notes: This is the 2nd sketch designer Christian Lacroix submitted to WWD. This one's colors gradually go from dark blue to a light shade of purple. It is a turtleneck and is accessorized with what look like diamonds (which Michelle has definitely done in the past: turtleneck with a pendant). While the dress is conservative, it is also very elegant and has a red brooch on the top right. And what's a dress without a pouch? Well, Christian made this dress go with a pouch that has the county's flag. Very unique!

Collector's Notes: Who doesn't want to be in Chanel clothes?! Well, if all the top-notch designers want to dress Michelle Obama, we automatically know that Karl Lagerfeld (for Chanel) is not being held back from this chance. This was his submitted sketch to WWD regarding how he will dress the First Lady, if given the chance. And WOW! his sketch is FABULOUS! The day outfit seems very simple yet elegant! And the dress for the ball is AMAZING! Its flower on the center is sooo Michelle's thing. And we can definitely imagine Michelle arriving at the ball wearing this lovely Chanel dress and matching red shoes!

Collector's Notes: This lovely sketch was submitted to WWD by designer Badgley Mischka. As we see, this suit in color blue with white turtleneck and black belt and gloves, is a nice outfit for the day of the Inaugural Ball. We have also seen Michelle pull off the knee-high boots, so this sketch is up-to-date with Michelle's wardrobe. And who knows, this could be a possibility!
